State government pulls the brakes on number of JKKKs per constituency

THE Penang state executive council has decided on a maximum of five Village Security and Development Committees (JKKKs) per state constituency.

Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon said that constituencies with more than five JKKKs would no longer be able to apply for more, while those with fewer than five were encouraged to apply to the maximum.
