THE Penang government is still seeking a meeting with the Election Commission (EC) on the proposed redelineation of electoral boundaries in the state despite a rejection of an earlier request.

Bayan Baru PKR MP Sim Tze Tzin, who is among three Pakatan Rakyat politicans representing the state government for the talks, said the EC had rejected their first request, made via a letter on Nov 25 last year, on Dec 8.
