A 119-year-old tapestry depicting the Eight Immortals and Nine Emperor Gods has been carefully restored to good condition.

It took 11 local volunteers almost 1, 500 hours of intricate handwork, sweat and eye for detail to carry out conservation work on the textile belonging to the Tow Boh Keong Temple in Cheong Fatt Tze Road (formerly known as Hong Kong Street) in Penang.
