New mayor for PJ to be sworn in on Feb 5

SELANGOR deputy secretary (Management) Mohamad Zahri Samingon (pic) will be the new Petaling Jaya mayor.

The announcement was shared on the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Facebook page on Monday (Jan 29) evening.

In the congratulatory message by MBPJ, Mohamad Zahri would officially commence his mayorship as of Feb 1.

Petaling Jaya deputy mayor Aznan Hassan confirmed the news, adding that Mohamad Zahri would be sworn in on Feb 5.
