Jamie Brewer, New York Fashion Week's first model with Down's Syndrome

As the first model with Down's Syndrome to grace the runway at New York Fashion Week, Jamie Brewer made history. The American actress appeared at the Role Models Not Runway Models show in an A-line dress designed by Carrie Hammer.

“It’s amazing, it’s really neat. Many women have many sides to their personality, this dress fits mine. I am honoured to be in it,” Brewer told the media when asked how she felt being greeted by a huge applause.
