TAN Wei Kheng is based in Miri but regularly goes into the Sarawak interiors, spending a week or more each time to reacquaint himself with the indigenous Orang Ulu, Kayans, Kenyahs, Kelabits, Bidayuhs, Ibans and the nomadic Penans. His forays started in 1992.
