ABOUT two weeks ago, when the usual idea of interviews had become rather pasty, I had a brainwave and asked my friend, Zedeck Siew, a young and up-and-coming writer, to write me something.
Plus, I thought it would be better for readers to hear the voice of the writer through the best medium of all – his own writing – instead of reading my interpretation of what he wants to say. To be fair, a writer’s voice isn’t found just in a single piece of writing, no matter who he is. It’s in his entire oeuvre.
