Adult depression affects the little ones, too

I am in the midst of editing a picture book about a child who has to deal with a clinically depressed mother.

It’s an important book on a subject that doesn’t get the attention it should. The author is not herself depressed, but someone close to her is, and this made her realise how children whose lives have been touched by depression need help to make sense of the condition.
