Malacca is set to be the main location for an international movie titled Admiral. The project is a joint-venture between two production companies, Mega Visual Sdn Bhd from Malaysia and Times Production Limited from Hong Kong.
The 120-minute feature film is an epic action-packed thriller with attributes of historical elements from the 15th century kingdom of Malacca and a story which showcases the heroic ancient explorer, Admiral Cheng Ho and warrior prince Megat Iskandar Shah. Their values of trust and friendship made Malacca the most sought after trading hub in the region which attracted Portuguese, French and British merchants.
