Azalina is the new chairperson of Finas.
The new chairperson of National Film Development Corporation (Finas) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman hopes to get the government body back to its original purpose, which is to develop the filmmaking industry and raise its profile.
During a meeting last week, the politician said she has been in talks with the players in the creative industry to discuss some of the issues. One of which she is seriously looking at is to have more transparency, especially in the matters of finance.
