To document the history and architectural style of No. 111, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, and the Tan generations who lived there, Tan Siok Choo co-authored the book Ancestral Home Of Tun Tan Siew Sin with architect Chen Voon Fee.

The book was officially launched May 21 in Kuala Lumpur by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah. Work on the book started 16 years ago but the project got delayed because Tan’s career took up much of her time.
