Here's an interesting piece of information – South Korean director Yoo Ha didn’t want to hire Lee Min-ho after seeing the latter’s Boys Over Flowers, concluding Lee was too good-looking for the role he had in mind.
In the end, however, the director did hire Lee for his film Gangnam Blues – not only because he was pressured by his wife, but he wanted the challenge of transforming Lee’s image from a “flower boy” to a low-life gangster.
