The great philosopher George Santayana once said, “Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.” A nation’s future is always bound by its history: we have to learn from our earlier successes, and ensure we do not repeat our past mistakes. How can we move forward if we forget what came before?
Many of the nominees in the non-fiction category of this year’s Popular-The Star Readers’ Choice Awards (RCA) pay tribute to great men and moments of the past.
