With his trademark suit and tie and those sunglasses, Datuk Jamal Abdillah Jamal should be a known figure to any Malaysian. Last August, the 55-year-old music legend staged four acclaimed concerts at Istana Budaya in Kuala Lumpur, alongside Indonesian singer Eddy Silitonga.
He's now expected to sell-out his upcoming engagements at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas in Kuala Lumpur. This time, Jamal will be backed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in a career-spanning music extravaganza scheduled for March 28 and 29.
