The 11th edition of the Japanese Film Festival will be held in the Klang Valley, Penang, Kuching (Sarawak) and Kota Kinabalu (Sabah).

Heart-warming dramas and rib-tickling comedies dominate this year’s Japanese Film Festival. Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur senior programme officer Kyoko Kugai says: “We have managed to secure several critically-acclaimed and top-grossing titles to thank our supporters who have been there with us since day one. There are a few familiar faces known for attending almost every screening. They are what keeps us going.
