The Great Ocean Drive is one of the best road trips in Australia with its beautiful and stunning vistas. It is a 243km drive along the coast of the state of Victoria and is actually a war memorial dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I.

Alongside the drive but hugging closer to the coastline is the equally spectacular Great Ocean Walk (104km) between the seaside town of Apollo Bay and the renowned Twelve Apostles. The walk on undulating terrain rambles through forests, coastal heath, sand dunes, rivers, farmland and high exposed cliffs.
