Just off the Kuala Selangor coastline is a mysterious sandbank or “island” in the Straits of Malacca. But this is no ordinary island: its reflective qualities make it an extremely popular spot for curious visitors.
Thanks to these reflective qualities, “Sky Mirror”, as it is popularly known, is likened to Bolivia’s Salar De Uyuni, the world largest salt flat.
