Two amusement parks in Malaysia recently received recognition in TripAdvisor’s 2019 Travellers’ Choice Awards.

The Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh, Perak and Legoland Malaysia in Johor Baru, Johor, are listed as #24 and #25 in the “Top 25 Amusement Parks In Asia” list.

According to TripAdvisor, the Travellers’ Choice Awards reflect “the very best of travel, chosen by millions of travellers”.

These rankings are determined by “an algorithm based on the quantity and quality of reviews as well as members’ rating” said the travel site. This basically means that the choices are based on the reviews of travellers.

The Lost World of Tambun, a theme park located in the historic town of Ipoh, offers action and adventure for the whole family.

It is set in the natural landscape of the historic city, surrounded by limestone hills and caves. This world of adventure offers nine parks including the Water Park, Lost World Amusement Park, Hippo Kingdom and Luminous Forest.
