Has Malaysia been successful in promoting our food overseas?

We love our nasi lemak. But have we been successful in promoting it overseas?

When we travel, especially to new places, it is a feast for the senses. These days, tourists are also feasting more and discovering unique cuisines a destination has to offer. That was the case when I visited South America recently.

With my tour group of 15 people, we went to Lima, Peru, and ate at Maido, named Latin America’s best restaurant of 2018 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. We were lucky to get a table as you need to book a month ahead and cough up at least US$202 (RM831) per person to dine there.
