Voyager of the Seas, one of Asia's largest cruise ships, back in SEA


Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas is in South-East Asia for a stint until June next year.

Voyager of the Seas, one of Asia’s largest and most innovative cruise ships by Royal Caribbean, is back in South-East Asia for her longest-running stint.

The ship will be making a combined total of 74 calls to Port Klang (Selangor), Penang and Langkawi (Kedah), with over 66 sailings. These will be among the 90 sailings from Singapore to regional destinations, including Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand. The shop will be in South-East Asia until June 2019.

The Voyager can accommodate 4,269 passengers and offers 15 decks of activities and entertainment. These include the Royal Promenade, a boulevard of duty-free boutiques, an ice-skating rink and a full-sized sports court with a flowriding wave facaility and rockclimbing wall.

There is also a three-tier theatre and Dream­Works Entertainment featuring popular characters such as Shrek and Fiona from Shrek and Po from Kung Fu Panda.

For foodies, there are myriad dining options on board. There is the 24-hour Cafe Promenade, Main Dining Room, and Wind­jammer Cafe buffet restaurant, which serves international cuisine with a selection of Asian dishes.

If you prefer speciality dining, head to Chops Grille Steak­house, the Giovanni’s Table Italian restaurant, Izumi for Asian cuisine, and Johnny Rockets.

Accommodation choices range from luxurious suites to unique Promenade staterooms which offer views overlooking the Royal Promenade and Virtual Balcony interior staterooms that show real-time views of the ocean and destinations.
