A former foundry in Paris’s 11th arrondissement is site of a brand-new digital art centre that opened on April 13 with an immersive exhibition devoted to Gustav Klimt and Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

The exhibition called Klimt Hundertwasser Poetic_Ai is filled by paintings on the walls and floors. Featuring 140 video projectors and a sound system, the Atelier des Lumieres holds 3,300sqm of multimedia exhibition space, reaching up to 10m high, integrating elements from the former iron foundry, such as a chimney, drying tower, pool and water tank, into the immersive experience.
