Six Flags Over Texas theme park has announced the opening of North America's first fully-integrated virtual reality roller coaster. Combining the traditional roller coaster experience with a fully immersive virtual world, the "New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster" features Samsung Gear VR technology, powered by Oculus.
Riders will wear Samsung Gear VR headsets that see them transformed into co-pilots of a fighter jet flying through a futuristic city. They will engage in a battle to protect the planet against alien invaders.
