Marriott seems to be capitalising on the "Made in America" theme that has surfaced over the course of the US presidential election, by announcing that from now on, all hotel towels will be "Made in the USA".
In the announcement, the hotel chain calls the move a first for the US hospitality industry and pledges that every towel in each guest bathroom in nearly 3,000 hotels across the United States will be manufactured domestically.
