Spring is in the air with more than half a million tulips in full bloom at the Dandenong Mountain Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It is the 62nd Tesselaar Tulip Festival, held annually in Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges, just an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Set on a tulip farm, the popular festival draws not just crowds from all across Australia but also the world.
The event offers a month of fun-filled activities and attractions suitable for the whole family, including live entertainment, a garden sculpture exhibition, multi-cultural food and beautiful garden displays. But the main attraction is of course the sprawling showcase of half a million multi-coloured tulips of over 120 different varieties.
