Google has taken its Street View collection to new heights with its first vertical climb, mounting cameras on some of the best climbers in the world as they scale the sheer granite face of Yosemite's El Capitan in California.
To capture the dizzying ascent, Google gave cameras to climbers Lynn Hill, Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell, who scaled 3,000ft (914.4m) of vertical rock face to capture the experience for the armchair viewer.
