Watermelon is a refreshing food on warm days – that’s exactly what a baker in Taiwan thought when he came up with a creative way to get children to eat when the heat of summer causes them to lose their appetite.
Lee Wen-fa, head baker at Jimmy’s Bakery in the northern Taiwan township of Jiaohsi, wanted to make toast interesting to children and created bread in the shape of a watermelon.
