Datuk Dr Ronald McCoy has dedicated his life to helping and healing the sick, a direct inspiration of the mass tragedy that was the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945.
While he may have valued the return of peace to the eastern part of the world, the Empire of Japan’s catastrophic loss was simply unacceptable, a lesson he gleaned from reading John Hersey’s book Hiroshima.
