New York, London and Paris: these are the backdrops for some of the latest brand campaigns for our favourite fashion labels featuring well-known personalities.

Diverse personalities in the city

New York has served as an eternal inspiration for DKNY: a city brimming with vitality, where the streets rival the elegance of fashion runways, with its ever-evolving culture and individuality uniting its people.

The Fall 2023 “DKNY For You” campaign beautifully blends aspirations and reality, delving into the distinctive essence of New York from various angles, recognising that everyone carries a narrative worth sharing.

Captured through the lens of Dan Martensen and artfully styled by Alastair McKimm, the campaign showcases not only Amelia Gray Hamlin and Christian Combs but also a diverse array of personalities like Abby Champion, Peter Dupont, Catarina Guedes, Alex Schlab, Hiandra Martinez, and Raph – all intertwined with the spirit of the city.

Each of these individuals embodies the unmistakable local vibe, lending authenticity to each captivating image. At its heart, the collection unveils an inherent approach to urban dressing.

Classics are renewed with a certain effortless polish, silhouettes are streamlined to emphasise their allure and the tonal palette appears strong and focused.

Each ensemble carries with it a corresponding experience: catching a performance at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, engaging in a chess match in the square, immersing in the latest art exhibition, or simply finding solace on a park bench.

London calling

This season, Maje heads to London to capture the city’s radically cool atmosphere through British model Lila Moss, whose blond hair and rocker chick vibe makes her the new It-girl to watch.

From the bustling streets of Soho to the hip cafes of Shoreditch, her “oh-so-British” allure are perfectly merged with the Parisian brand’s effortless essence.

Through the energy, looks, visuals and attitude, the 20-year-old daringly takes on the anything, fully embodying the spirit of the brand, infusing it with the carefree attitude of today’s London.

From the photos to the campaign film, the vibe of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection was structured around Moss and her unmistakable supermodel style.

Allure of Paris

Louis Vuitton has just unveiled its Women’s Fall/Winter 2023 campaign featuring Emma Stone. Captured by David Sims against the backdrop of Parisian icons like the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo and the National Archives, the campaign showcases the allure and magnetism of French style.

These elements lie at the heart of the brand’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquiere’s vision for the Fall/Winter 2023 collection.

Amidst the courtyard of the National Archives, Academy Award-winning actress Stone exudes a sense of nostalgic wonder as she immerses herself in the surroundings.

With elegance and a touch of mystery intrinsic to French style, she dons two exquisite ensembles from the collection, including one which is complemented by the Maison’s iconic GO14 bag, a masterpiece with malletage detailing that draws inspiration from Louis Vuitton's storied trunk-making heritage, dating back to 1854 in the heart of Paris.
