Two-in-one makeup may very well be the best way to 'camouflage' your skin

Two-in-one products have become a beauty staple, with many brands incorporating two and sometimes even more, uses for a single product.

Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage Brighten & Correct Duo, an effortless 2-in-1 concealer, corrects facial imperfections and brightens the under-eye for a naturally flawless complexion.

On one end is the “correct” tip, which acts as a concealer, and the other end, a “brighten” feature, which serves as a brightener for the under-eye area.

The brand defined the French concept of “camouflage” with the introduction of founder Mercier’s bestselling Secret Camouflage palette in 1996.

“Camouflage is the reason why I wanted to start my brand in the first place... it was a way to artisanally retouch the face in order to get the skin to be the most real and the most natural possible," says Mercier.

This innovative duo stick offers effortless and easier-than-ever application, and it features a range of 16 highly pigmented shades.

A creamy concealer duo, it claims to instantly erase even the hardest-to-cover imperfections with undetectable coverage and aims at effectively brightening the under-eye area.

Pearl and plant extracts help reduce the appearance of under-eye darkness, and the product also contains moisturising benefits that help protect against skin inflammation and boost hydration for comfortable, all-day wear.

Key ingredients that make up the “correct” side include maximum pigment loads for a weightless feel, which allow for maximum undetectable coverage while remaining comfortable on the skin, as well as spherical blurring powders which are rich in natural silica that smooth the appearance of imperfections with a soft-focus effect.

On the “brighten” end, a blend of pink or gold-tone pearl pigments instantly brighten the area under the eyes, while skin brightening plant extracts increase circulation.

It also contains murumuru seed butter, a comforting plant-derived butter which provides a creamy, emollient glide, as well as plant-derived squalane which helps boost hydration for a more supple under-eye area.
