Are you a fan of BTOB? South Korean menswear brand Spao has recently appointed the K-pop boy band to front its fashion campaign for the season. This is exclusive to Malaysia.

BTOB is said to be among the more well-known boy bands in South Korea. Campaign visuals show Yook Sung-jae, Jung Il-hoon, Peniel Shin and Im Hyun-sik in the latest essentials by Spao.

The remaining three members, Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk and Lee Chang-sub, are currently away. The trio is fulfilling a mandatory military service, which is compulsory for all young men in South Korea.

BTOB debuted in March, 2012. The group’s debut EP, Born To Beat was unveiled to the public a month later. The first full-length album, Complete, was released later in 2015.

Since then, the members have received multiple accolades, including “Singer of the Year” at the 2015 KBS Music Festival, “Best Vocal Group Award” at the 30th Golden Disc Awards, and “Ballad Award” at the 25th Seoul Music Awards.

Parkson – the distributor of Spao in Malaysia, as well as other South Korean fashion brands like Mixxo and Shoopen – revealed that BTOB is chosen exclusively for Malaysia as the group matches the season’s look and feel.

Currently on offer is a wide range of men’s casual, formal and sports wear. Trendy accessories can also be found in stores. All of these cater to the hip, cool and urban crowd.

Spao targets guys who want to create a dapper and well-dressed look. Infusing the latest trends in its various assortment, the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection includes clothing, as well as belts, ties and bags.

The brand was launched back in 2009. The first store was opened at Myeongdong, Seoul, in September. It made its way to Malaysia later in 2015, debuting at Parkson Elite in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Parkson has also put up a special gallery to mark the partnership between Spao and BTOB in stores. The apparels worn during the campaign photoshoot (and signed by the members) is displayed for fans.
