London Fashion Week Men’s concluded last week, after showcasing some of the trends in store for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. While inspirations and references from the major labels were diverse, often expressing various causes and commitments, men’s ready-to-wear will still have a decidedly streetwear flavour next season.
Anyone who thought that the streetwear, or even athleisure, trends would lose steam next year looks set to be disappointed. The first menswear shows of the season, held in London from June 9 to 11, suggest that menswear wardrobes will still be influenced by urban styles in the coming seasons.
