Cutting-edge American hair brand IGK is now in Malaysia

IGK is founded by four innovative and influential hair stylists – Chase Kusero, Franck Izquierdo, Leo Izquierdo, and Aaron Grenia.

With the arrival of IGK hair products, you can now say goodbye to boring hair.

Sephora South East Asia just announced the launch of IGK, the American haircare brand, across all its retail stores and sephora.my in the region.

Known as the cool girl’s hair brand, IGK offers products you never knew you needed – like the Low Key Cleansing Walnut Scalp Scrub that is a cooling scalp shampoo and exfoliator, and the Expensive Amla Oil Hi-Shine Topcoat that provides shine and strength.

Along with top sellers such as their Beach Club Volumizing Texture Spray and Rich Kid Coconut Oil Air-Dry Styler, customers can also expect to find the entire line-up of products from texture sprays, dry shampoos, and air-dry stylers to trend products like glitter sprays and holographic foams.

“We’re very excited to bring IGK to Southeast Asia with Sephora. We’re so inspired by the culture, cool style and attitude. It’s the perfect fit for us and our brand philosophy – No Boring Hair. Ever,” said Franck Izquierdo, one of the IGK’s founders.

IGK is named after the first letters of the founders’ last names (Izquierdo, Grenia, Kusero) and is the brainchild of four innovative hair stylists – Chase Kusero, Franck Izquierdo, Leo Izquierdo, and Aaron Grenia.

The four of them have been styling hair since young, and they currently own and manage salons in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Franck and Leo, in the Miami salon, come from a family of hair stylists, and moved from France to the US to start their own salon.

Kusero, in the Los Angeles salon, is known for setting trends with celebrity clients like Jared Leto, Sofia Richie and Vanessa Kirby. Over in New York, Grenia is favoured by the city’s influential trend-setters and editors.

The founders created products that give their clients the looks they want with minimal effort. IGK products are infused with beneficial ingredients like coconut oil, coconut milk, turmeric, vegan, and are free from ingredients like gluten, parabens, sulphates, petrolatum, and mineral oil.
