Skin Doctors, an Australian cosmeceutical skincare brand, has created two vitamin-based anti-ageing skincare that is affordable and efficient.
Vitamin C has been known as the superstar of anti-ageing skincare for its proven antioxidant ability.
It’s available in many skincare brands but the challenge is in keeping the vitamin C from degrading as it loses its efficacy when it is exposed to environmental factors such as air and light.
Skin Doctors cosmeceuticals, an Australian skincare brand, has just launched the Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin C Day Ampoules and Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin A Night Ampoules, two anti-ageing treatments to be used in tandem.
Skin Doctors is a problem-solution treatment skin care brand that offers clinical strength cosmeceutical topical products as an alternative to surgery.
This is the first time that the brand is offering ampoules to provide pure, fresh and a potent dose of active ingredients directly to your skin for optimum efficacy.
“Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin C Day Ampoules contains 10% concentrated dose of pure Vitamin C which helps to activate collagen synthesis, fight signs of ageing, brighten and protect our skin from environmental stressors,” says Eunice Lim, brand manager for skincare at Pharmacare (Asia) Sdn Bhd.
The Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin C Day Ampoules is a velvety and light conditioning serum that fights the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and pigmentation.
For night, Lim says the Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin A Night Ampoules contains 0.15% dose of pure Vitamin A, which works by normalising skin functions, enabling correction of skin conditions and accelerating cell renewal.
The Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin A Night Ampoules contains Microsponge, a slow-release technology to gently transport the retinol (a form of Vitamin A) deep into the skin whilst you sleep.
Lim says that the Microsponge slow-release technology is a polymeric delivery system composed of porous microspheres, and they are tiny sponge-like spherical particles with a large porous surface.
“They enhance stability and are designed to deliver a cosmeceutical active ingredient efficiently using sustained-release technology at a modified dose. In topical skincare treatments, this is particularly beneficial to treat ageing or photo-damaged skin.”
“Both of these products, which are paraben-free, are proven to boost collagen and elastin,” Lim points out.
While they are pure ingredients Lim assured that there will not be any tingling sensation upon application, and she suggests that customers perform a patch test 24 hours prior to use to ensure suitability of product on different skin types.
For customers who have specific skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, Lim suggests that they consult healthcare professionals prior to usage.
Can these products be applied around the eye area to help with crows feet, wrinkles and fine lines? “For the eye area, we recommend customers to use Skin Doctors eyetuck to improve appearance of eye bags and Skin Doctors eyecircle to reduce under eye dark circles, and at the same time, tighten the skin around the eye area.
For someone who may choose to buy and use only the day or night product, Lim says, “Each Skin Doctors product is designed to treat specific skincare needs. For optimum results on skin, we recommend customers use both the day and night ampoules.”
The Skin Doctors Potent Vitamin C and A Ampoules are priced at RM199 each, and are available at Sasa beauty stores and selected independent pharmacies nationwide.
So, now when you’re travelling or just taking an overnight trip there’s no need to carry heavy skincare bottles as these anti-ageing treatment ampoules are convenient, light and ideal to carry.
