The latest Autumn/Winter 2017 makeup products may look ordinary from the outside, but with each season, the formulas and shades change.

Eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushers and eyeliners undergo a revamp and while there are hits, there are also misses. When brands are trying out new tech methods or creating new shades for their latest products, it may not necessarily translate into a successful one. We tested some of the season’s newest releases and found some hits, while others missed the mark.
