German maker of leather bags and accessories Braun Buffel revisits its heritage this Autumn/Winter. The season’s collection draws from Berlin – a place where history and culture blend seamlessly together.

The current season also presents a contemporary reimagining of Cubism art references, with a hint of three-dimensional geometric abstract forms influenced by German-American artist Lyonel Feininger.

The Autumn/Winter collection nevertheless stays true to the house’s iconic philosophy of functional designs married with quality workmanship. It also serves to present a trendy take on essential accessorising.

Bold, neon colour hues take charge in the women’s collection. They evoke exuberance, where opulent feminine glamour is contrasted against a patina of sensuous sophistication.

Braun Buffel offers trendy designs for everyday escapades.

The men’s collection accentuates urban sartorialism with a modish design aesthetic. An expression of quirkiness is observed, complete with colours inspired by the creative magnetism of 1980s West Berlin.

Also look out for the special Buffy and Bully “grafitti” designs. These reference the era of urban grunge, as well as underscore the nightlife and cultural collision found within past neo-expressionist movements.

The Buffy and Bully designs denote a youthful, edgy attitude.

Practical yet sophisticated, the bags feature a compact silhouette.
