This week’s Celebrity Style takes a look at the actors and actresses of some recently-released superhero flicks who walked the red carpet dressed to the nines.

No, they didn’t appear in skin-tight lycra, or, come in capes. Although, the fan-boys (or girls) would probably drool with excitement if that happened.

Elizabeth Olsen (who portrayed Scarlet Witch) wore an all-white Alexander McQueen gown for the Captain America: Civil War premiere in London last month.

Her fellow cast member Emily VanCamp – while not technically a superhero in the film (she played CIA agent Sharon Carter), was seen in a Zuhair Murad number.

Of course, who could forget Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman in Superman V Batman: Dawn Of Justice). She looked stunning wearing Prada in March this year.

More recently, Jennifer Lawrence (aka Mystique in the X-Men films) turned heads in Dior for the X-Men: Apocalypse premiere.

Not forgetting the boys: James McAvoy (Professor X) and Ben Hardy (Archangel) were nothing if not dapper in their Burberry suits, as well.

You know how you’re often told to “dress for the job you want”? It doesn’t apply to celebrities. No-uh.

Then again, maybe that’s because they’ve already gotten the job...
