It was said to be the first collection of mechanical watches from Omega that were equipped with the watchmaker’s co-axial calibre 8520/8521. The models within it were also the earliest to feature the Si14 silicon balance spring, which contributed to their performance.
In 2014, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M was once again at the forefront. It became the first ladies’ timepiece to be powered by the state-of-the-art, anti-magnetic Omega Master Co-Axial calibres, as well.
