Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani is back with another makeup collection inspired by one of its catwalk shows. Created backstage at the Spring/Summer 2016 show, this season’s Runway collection features four new products and was launched internationally last week.
For an easy way to recreate catwalk makeup looks, the Runway collection puts a selection of products developed exclusively behind the scenes at the label’s show up for public release. The products are developed using the Armani Runway Lab, a specially designed mobile makeup station with a huge range of pigments and textures that can be used to create new colours backstage. The creations mixed on-demand for the show are then developed into marketable makeup products a few months down the line.
