The first act of the style spectacle that is New York Fashion Week opened late last week to a fanfare of riotous colour and swaggering clout.
First up was cult label Pyer Moss, whose debut womenswear show addressed racism and aggression as models strutted down the runway to a video displaying recent headline-grabbing allegations of police brutality.
