The newest collection from Datuk Bernard Chandran was greatly inspired by Madame Gres and her classic technique.For the uninitiated, Grès (1903-1993) was a French haute couturier in the 20th century. She was known for using delicate pleats which turned ordinary fabric into Greek sculpture.
