THERE are no “laws” governing the shade or colours that you choose as ultimately, who’s to stop you from going with what you like, right? But a few useful pointers will help to ensure there are no make-up faux pas.

Always test the foundation to check that you’ve got the right shade before buying. Trying it out on the inner wrist or hand isn’t as accurate as seeing the colour on your jawline.
