Kids selling drugs? It's more common than you think


Even though they have been clean for awhile, these two young former drug users know it is an uphill battle.

In her nine years as a drug counsellor at Malaysian Care, Poh has observed some troubling trends. Chief among them is that kids are using drugs younger.

In 2010 and 2011, she noticed the shift from older, middle-aged clients to increasingly younger teenagers. She estimates that the average age of the patients they treat now is in their early 20s, with many having been to several rehab centres before they arrive.
