Actress Ku Hye-sun quits showbiz amid divorce row with actor Ahn Jae-hyun

Actress Ku Hye-sun, engulfed in a widely publicised divorce, announced Monday she will temporarily suspend her showbiz career. "Ku Hye-sun will halt her show business activities. She plans to resume her academic career at Sungkyunkwan University," said an official at Liwu Law Group, representing her.

The news came a day after Ku alluded to the departure on Instagram. Announcing the release of her book, I Am Your Pet, Ku said in a Sunday post: "I am here to give my last goodbye to you. I am grateful for the enormous attention and love you gave to me and I could achieve my dream thanks to that."
