Actor-producer Datuk Eizlan Yusof was named as the Asian Most Promising Actor at the 24th Chunsa Film Art Awards, held in Seoul, South Korea, on July 18.
The news was first reported by Harian Metro, which quoted Eizlan saying his win is for Malaysia. The 48-year-old actor said: "This proves that Malaysian talents are able to travel overseas. This will indirectly open up more opportunities for us and strengthen the Malaysian creative industry."
