News has circulated on the Internet that George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin are candidates for godparents to Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s first baby. So when we met Clooney in Pasadena, California, at a press conference for his new TV show Catch-22, we had to ask if the reports were true.
“Apparently I’m going to be the godfather of the royals? No, no. I’m now a father of twins. I have enough s**t to deal with. Literally,” he said, laughing off the rumour. Clooney, 57, and Amal, 41, welcomed daughter Ella and son Alexander in June 2017.
