Veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna dies aged 70

Acclaimed Indian actor Vinod Khanna, who starred in dozens of hit Bollywood movies including Amar Akbar Anthony and Mere Apne, died aged 70 April 27, a Mumbai hospital said. He had been suffering from cancer.

Tributes poured in from the world of Hindi cinema for the award-winning actor, who was lauded for his roles playing angry young men in the 1970s.
