Lee Cheng Wai, from Kuala Lumpur, is a consummate drummer. For the most part of his life – some 18 years – he has been playing the Chinese festive drum.

Today, the 28-year-old drumming instructor and coach, is the founder of VR Drumming Academy in Bandar Tun Razak, KL. He is also a member of Malaysia-China Culture and Art Association, having served as a board director to promote festive drum cultural activities, both locally, and in China.
