US comedian and actor Garry Shandling, best known for his late-night talk show series The Larry Sanders Show and his quirky sitcom It's Garry Shandling's Show, died on March 24 at age 66.

Los Angeles police said paramedics were called to the comedian's home and he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
