Thousands turned out to welcome the Year of the Fire Monkey at a colourful and fun-filled, outdoor Lunar New Year celebration in Buenos Aires recently.
The actual Lunar New Year doesn't start until February 8, but the party got started early in the Argentine capital and will continue on Jan 31.
