Datuk Teoh Teik Lee celebrated his 90th birthday recently and among the 150 guests were about a score of his former students from the Specialist Teachers’ Training Institute (STTI) in Kuala Lumpur.
Looking at Teoh now, 35 years after his retirement, he is as trim and fit-looking as ever. Teoh had spent his whole career at the STTI, having structured the specialist course in Physical Education for teachers in 1960.
